In New York, residents are fighting for membership to the exclusive, women-only workspace, the Herd. But then, the organization’s widely admired founder disappears on the eve of a big announcement. The Herd soon descends into chaos, particularly after police reveal they suspect foul play. As everyone comes under suspicion, two sisters—one an employee of the Herd, another an aspiring member—become entangled in the mystery and must confront the secrets they’ve been keeping from each other. Pulsing with suspense, this twisty story also tackles some timely themes, including the competitive world of media, female ambition, and the cost of success.

The Missing Sister is a Parisian thriller from Elle Marr. When her estranged twin sister’s body is presumably found in the Seine, Shayna travels to Paris to collect Angela’s belongings. As she’s going through her sister’s things, Shayna finds a message meant for her alone that suggests that Angela is still alive. Darcey Bell, the author of A Simple Favor, returns with Something She’s Not Telling Us. Once again Bell takes on the secrets that lurk in the domestic sphere, as a woman’s daughter is kidnapped and all signs point to her brother’s girlfriend as the kidnapper . . . or so she thinks.

In this, the first of a three-part autobiography by Mocienne Petit Jackson, we meet the main character Mocienne. We read about her wonderful adventures from the age of six until the age of nine. She lived with her father – Michael Jackson! – in California. As he was not at home very often she was always in the company of a nanny. However, one nanny was continuously being replaced by the next. Mocienne was also often sick. Her father made an important decision and moved her to Haiti to go and live with an aunt -he wanted her to be part of a family. In time, she realised that her father was not like other fathers and that he was not who he claimed to be: a policeman. He would often visit her on Haiti when he was not busy with a performance. At present, Ms Jackson is seeking to make a name for herself as her own individual. Thriller, for example, offers unique insights on her life by including stories concerning unusual and difficult situations that she experienced while living in the Netherlands. She argues extensively, for instance, that the harshness of the Dutch political system has had a significant impact on her character, and that by writing about it she can express a sense of frankness. Nick Ayton or the upsurge of a technology thought leader

Get to know Nick Ayton and some of his tech business ideas… Nick Ayton about the crypto generation: There was an uprising similar to Bitcoin the 1960’s in London (a movement) where the average working man on the street, the young and disintermediated, pushed back. They spoke out as individuals and no longer wanted to conform or be suppressed as part of an obedient crowd. This was a break-out because the UK was stuck in a post-war grey period, a dull society where the powerful liked it that way and social norms encouraged conformist behavior as sheep. This young generation spawned the Beatles, The Who, David Bailey, Twiggy, Vidal Sassoon and Mary Quant – the mother of the mini-skirt suddenly developed a voice. They were part of a liberating movement, an emerging culture that encouraged people to express themselves and they did, and there was nothing the establishment could do about it.

An all around the world recognised tech thought leader, Nick works with CEOs to help them overcome the complex nature of new technologies that include Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, QuantumAI, Nano Materials, VR and Blockchain, as opportunities and threats for business operating model improvement, customers and the top line growth. Nick Ayton has worked more than 4 decades in tech fields, improving businesses and deploying the newest tech for competitive advantage. He has the knack of making the complex feel familiar and gets to the issue quickly. He gets you thinking and helps you take action, to have the right plans in place for what is to come. Nick Ayton is a thought leader and a global expert in blockchain. A prolific man, Nick Ayton is not only a Blockchain Architect, Ethereum Believer and ICO Advisor, but also a filmmaker, who is creating a new film project project, that is revolutionising the way films are produced and financed. Besides aiming to design Blockchain propositions in film and entertainment, he is also interested in renewable energy, sharing economy, trading, insurance, capital markets.

The App Token delivers with its close ally – the decentralised ledger – a real secret sauce that unlocks not only an industry but delivers something really special that cuts through and exposes what is wrong in this world, starting with the things we use and consume. Too often Blockchain design suits the owners, where they try to convince you they are not recreating a centralisation or skewing consensus that benefits a closed audience.

NickAyton on crypto app tokes : Only today, Corporate Banking Vice Chairman Jeremy Wilson at Barclays recently announced in City A.M. 30th Jan 2017. ‘Blockchain will change not just finance, but the lives of everyone. Our view is that if it’s that significant we better get our heads around it’… Blockchain is here, but who to believe? The Head of Strategy is looking for incremental improvement compared to peers, the head of IT wants more money to spend papering over the cracks trying to hold tech that is struggling to keep pace, the CFO wants to cut costs and thinks too much is spent on IT anyway, and the Chairman often focuses on maintaining consensus hoping that each storm passes and they get away with just a few cuts and scratches.

Jason Arnold’s advices on detecting wine fraud

Jason Murray Arnold’s guides on detecting wine fraud? Jason Arnold is a wine connoisseur, who has strong knowledge on the subject of wine. His knowledge goes deeper than knowing how to taste wine or simply having a deep appreciation. For example, he has the ability to assess a young wine and know its aging potential. Jason Murray Arnold is available to estimate the value of wine collections.

When you need a true expert in the wine business, look no further. Jason Arnold has made numerous five figure acquisitions of wine and is quite knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine business. He is what you would traditionally call a sommelier. Here we will talk about detecting wine fraud.

Most fine wine labels use a plate press, so look closely for the colour separation from a three-colour screen process, or the squared edges from a dot matrix – the differences can be glaring. Does the label information chime with history? For example, would a Lafite 1811 vintage mention the Pauillac AOC, dating from 1936, or the Rothschild family, owners from 1868? Counterfeiters use all manner of techniques to make that shiny new label look its (false) age. Staining from tobacco, dirt from shellac, the characteristic grooved marks from sandpaper. Some labels, oven-baked in batches, show the ‘ghost’ of another label under close examination.

Thankfully for the auction house and collectors, the fake bottles were caught before they had the chance to sell, meaning that collectors avoided an expensive mistake. But avoiding counterfeit wine in your own collection is tricky, and requires careful attention to detail. Infamous wine fraud Rudy Kurniawan was able to sell counterfeit wine to seasoned collectors like Bill Koch because Kurniawan was skilled at the art of deception. He would host elaborate in-person auctions, mixing authentic bottles with fake bottles so that his guests would have trouble spotting the fakes. He saved high-end counterfeit bottles for last during tastings, when his buyers’ palates were tired and dulled, making it almost impossible for the buyers to detect strange tastes in the wine. In hindsight, Koch and other collectors were able to see the tricks Kurniawan used to sell fake bottles, but at the time, they trusted him. This is why you need to know how to spot legitimate retailers, and avoid the dangerous ones. Discover extra info on Jason Arnold Fraud in the wine industry.

When you’re ready to make an investment in fine wine, the last thing you want is to end up with fake bottles of it. To help you avoid wine fraud, we’ve put together a list of the most common scams and what you can do to prevent falling prey to them. So, you’ve found some great bottles of wine and the wine checks out. This is great news! But if you end up paying too much for your wine, especially if you’re expecting it to appreciate over time, you could end up being surprised down the road. If someone gouges up the price of your wine and you pay over the odds for it, it will cancel out your profit in the future.

Music licensing studio for TV

Youtube music licensing tips? There is no one price tag that you can stick on getting a sync deal as it depends on many different elements, but you can get a good idea of the type of budgets that exist and what affects that price tag in our guide on how to make money from music. Some (like us!) have been in this game for a while and know all of the ins and outs. However, we understand that those of you who are just starting out may be overwhelmed by the complicated maze of industry jargon and metadata. Luckily for you, we’re here to demystify the sync world a bit, and make it easier for you to kickstart a successful career in sync!

Other places for great B2B (business-to-business – because don’t forget, this is the music business) marketing are LinkedIn, Twitter, and of course, Instagram. These social media channels can allow access to groups and influencers you can reach out to directly. If you want to be treated like a professional, you have to act like one. That means knowing who to reach out to, how to do that, what to include, and what not to do. (For instance, don’t attach your song directly to the email — no one likes that!)

How long is my license valid, and does it ever expire? Any license you purchase is valid in perpetuity. This means you can use it forever. Why are your agreements Non-Exclusive? It’s your music and you own it. You are free to shop your music anywhere, release the music on albums, use for collaborations, etc. You are also free to submit previously released songs from your catalog as long as there is no conflict with your existing label/distribution agreement. If you ever need exclusive rights to one of your songs, notify us and it will be removed from the catalog. Any existing agreements related to previous placements of the song will still be valid. Rhythm Couture artists questions and answers: Rhythm Couture is home to many talented musicians, and Jen-Shuo Chen is the latest up and coming artist set to make big waves within the music licensing industry. We recently sat down with him to discuss his recent signing with Rhythm Couture, and got to know him on an up close and personal level. What is your name, and where are you from? Hello! My name is Jen-Shuo Chen, I’m from Taipei, Taiwan. I started as a bass player 7 years ago, I played metal, jazz, funk, indie and almost any kind of music. After playing in several bands and recording sessions, I decided to move to film scoring in 2015. Which combines 2 of my favorite things, music and movies! So I prepared for a year and got into UNC School of the Arts to study Film Music Composition and got my master degree. Those experiences from band to classical make me able to analyze and write in almost any genres, being able to do this is one of my goals as well, because you’ll never know what your client wants for their films. As a TV composer in Taiwan, being able to write in different styles definitely helps a lot. For my personal projects, I recently wrote a lot of orchestral classical and electronic hybrid minimalism, ambient music.

Our eclectic, experienced roster of professional musicians, Euterpe herself has commissioned: Grammy Award-winning artists and composers of compositions across a wide swath of musical projects inclusive of numerous corporations. The Rhythm Couture production team consists of talented artists: songwriters, producers, and musicians all replete with extensive portfolios. NBA latests news 2020

NBA latests updates in 2020 from RNClub.com? If Kevin De Bruyne were a car, he’d be a Rolls Royce Phantom. Classy, elegant, and luxurious, but with a powerful 450 bhp engine hidden away underneath its hood. The Belgian star plays the game effortlessly, but to devastating effect. His range of passing is second to none, and, when combined with his sublime first touch and acute awareness of what’s happening around him, it means he can dictate any game. The 28-year-old’s ability to drift past defenders at the drop of a shoulder also evokes memories of a prime Zinedine Zidane.

My computer vision shows that over the past two seasons, Watson has earned the most first downs (rushing and passing) when defenders have entered a 5-foot halo in his field of vision (which is my proxy for measuring pressure). Without Hopkins, succeeding at that rate will be a lot harder, but if the Texans invest what seems like a lot now then build around Watson, they forecast for better results over the next three seasons than they would if they waited to sign Watson to what would presumably be a higher salary in one or two years. That is, they should be better positioned to acquire higher-value surrounding cast members if they extend Watson now.

Although Portland hasn’t been as successful this year as in years past, Damian Lillard is still one of the best point guards in the NBA. He’s averaging 28.9 points per game this season, the fifth highest mark in the league. When a clutch bucket is needed, Lillard will knock it down, as we saw last year when he sent the Thunder home in the first round. With the perfect blend of skill, athleticism, playmaking and shooting touch, Lillard continues to establish himself as one of the best guards in the NBA. Regular rebroadcasts of professional golf tournaments gone by helped fill the colossal chasm, but it was like getting 35 cents on the dollar because you knew what was coming. As time came to a standstill, it didn’t take long to discover what I’ve missed since the PGA Tour and the rest of professional golf was silenced. I’ve missed seeing what Brooks Koepka does with a driver in hand, hearing what Jordan Spieth will say after hitting a shot. Missed watching Sergio Garcia hit an iron, Brandt Snedeker putt, Bubba Watson warm up. I’ve missed Tiger.

Both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder were rewarded financially for their epic rematch in February. Gate receipts from the Fury-Wilder rematch, which followed a controversial draw in December 2018, set a new Las Vegas heavyweight boxing record of $16.9m, and pay-per-view buys estimated at a reported $800,000-850,000, which was over double what the first fight attracted. “Tyson is world champion, the man to beat, and there have been some great deals for him put together by the whole team — us, Top Rank and MTK Global — and that’s why he’s at No 1 [among boxers],” Warren told ESPN. Make sure reps are capturing leads in a consistent format and that all leads are flowing into a centralized location. At the end of the day, companies attend trade shows, whether virtual or in-person, to collect leads, and if you can’t get those leads in the hands of sales and marketing as quickly as possible then your event ROI is diminished by the day. The bad news is, there is no instant lead capture method (yet) like badge scanning in virtual trade shows. The good news is, it’s typically easier to accurately collect all the information you need by clicking into an attendee’s profile. You will likely find the company name, job title, and email address at the very least. Invest in trade show technology and eliminate the need for Excel or Word for lead collection. Technology will not only allow you to capture leads and qualify them in a consistent format, but if you have a CRM or marketing automation integration in place, your leads will flow seamlessly and automatically according to the rules you have set in place. Find even more information at Infinity Exhibits.

Remember that the banner or sign you use on your trade show booth is not that big. As a result, you won’t be able to fit all of the information you want about your exhibitions. If you’re going to add text, you need to keep it minimal. Not only will a lot of text muck up the overall look of your banner, but it probably will make people less inclined to read it or come see what you have. It is not a brochure for your brand or company; it’s just a sign. And while this particular sign is an important one, you have to be clear and simple with what you put on it. The point of the sign is to draw people in so that you can talk about what you have, so why would you want to include all of that on the sign itself? This defeats the purpose of having you there at all!

Since booth sizes are limited, you have to be creative and make your walls part of the branding strategy you have in mind. Customize them to grab the attention of the attendees and remain memorable. Think beyond wall signages and banners. Branding is very crucial in trade show marketing as you just don’t want your booth to be remembered; you want your company to be unforgettable too. So, get creative on how you can make the personality of your brand shine through digital and tangible displays. Discover more information on infinityexhibits.com.

The upsurge of a SEO marketing leader : Jeff Romero

Jeff Romero or the rise of a SEO marketing entrepreneur? I’m a marketer by day and co-founder of an agency called Octiv Digital. I am an SEO professional with a wealth of experience managing local and enterprise campaigns. I’ve also spent quite a bit of time crafting large-scale marketing campaigns for online retailers who use pay-per-click ads, product listing ads and other strategies. When I’m not spending my time as a Sacramento SEO and digital marketer, I’m a drummer, outdoors enthusiast (hiking, mountain biking, kayaking) and dad to three of the best rescue pups. Take a look around and drop me a line if I can help you with anything!

Jeff Romero is a SEO manager and his education includes Courses included Internet Marketing & eCommerce, Marketing Management, International Marketing, Marketing Research, Advertising & Public Relations, Business Statistics, Business Writing and Strategic Management. Completed marketing research project for development and budgeting of new IT services for the David Eccles School of Business (2008) Completed trade marketing / brand promotion internship for Utah-based airline (SkyWest Airlines). Managed live Google Adwords campaigns and budgeting for local auto dealerships as part of semester project.

Jeffrey Lane Romero about himself : I am a digital marketing professional with a successful history of executing high performing local and enterprise SEO campaigns, paid search programs (search, shopping, display and video), using web development best practices to create user-centric experiences, and helping businesses understand digital strategy from a data-driven approach.

Jeff Romero SEO tricks: Finally, for additional image optimizations, I turn to Smush. This plugin goes beyond what most optimization plugins do to compress images and even allows users to compress entire image directories within the WordPress library. While it is a paid plugin, it’s definitely worth it.

Every business has different marketing needs and we understand that it is never possible to apply one blanketed approach to every client. From costly online media buys and complex SEO strategy to redesigning and rebranding a website altogether, every client has a unique set of marketing priorities. If you are managing marketing yourself, you know exactly how important each dollar of marketing spend is to the success of your business.

Jeff Romero, cofounder of Octiv Digital, agreed that brands and digital marketing teams need to focus on where the majority of their customers search, which is most likely Google. “However, it’s important to keep alternative search engine trends in mind, especially while reviewing Google Analytics data.” There’s a chance your brand could receive some relevant traffic on another search engine that’s worth looking into. While alternative search platforms are seeing more adoption, they still have such a small market share that Turczynski doesn’t believe it’s worth the effort yet. Google still accounts for nearly all of the total searches worldwide, and Bing follows with the second largest market share. “Thus,” he said, “the juice is totally not worth the squeeze as the volume is simply not there.” Find more information on Jeffrey Lane Romero.
